People want Farfetch'd to get an evolution but they don't realize the whole purpose of Farfeth'd is that he sucks. His whole origin revolves around some Japanese idiom "a duck comes bearing green onions." Green onions are the garnish of choice when cooking duck so a duck bringing its own garnish is convenient but surprising. Remember how you get Farfetch'd? You trade a Spearow for him, a bird that is fucking everywhere. SO that's convenient. Then you find out Farfetch'd sucks ass through a straw so that's pretty surprising. Meanwhile, the kid you traded with has a Fearow by now and is Drill Pecking his way through other peoples bullshit.
